Now that's something completely different! A multiplex board with a rusty surface. Well? Are you already thinking about what you can build with it? Go ahead, we're very excited!
Our rust surface is versatile. You can use it in furniture construction, as wall cladding, on ceilings or stairs, in exhibition or shop fitting - there are hardly any limits to your ideas. Particularly in contrast with other HPL or acrylic surfaces, truly extraordinary combinations result.
The coating is smooth and consists of mineral, dyed materials and real metal particles. And it is – and this is very important to us – ecologically harmless and recyclable.
And for the most comfortable and easy processing possible, we apply the decor to our best lightweight board: Queenply. The low weight (approx. 320 – 350 kg/m3) makes processing easier. You don't have to lug around and install the mass of real iron plates! For further technical information, just look under "Technical Details".
Format: 241 x 118.5 cm
Weight: 17.2 mm – 23.68 kg | 20.2 mm – 26.65 kg
The Queenply Multiplex imi-rost is available in 17.2 mm or 20.2 mm thickness in our shop. We coat one side of the Queenply in a rust look, the back is covered with a very classy, matching HPL in black. The carrier plate is either 15 mm or 18 mm thick. The choice is yours. The rust characteristic has no unravelling. Each Queenply coating is unique. However, a uniform look is always guaranteed.
The grate surface consists of mineral, colored material with a proportion of real metallic iron particles. This means that the plates are slightly magnetic.
The base plate is of course our extremely light Queenply multiplex board and it is so much lighter than birch multiplex or poplar plywood. You are using iron plates, but you save weight, can work with the plates very easily and at the same time have a really cool look. We are excited to see what you make of it!
We calibrate the carrier plate to 0.2 mm to obtain a lower thickness tolerance.
Using the PUR hot melt process, we give the lightweight panel a moisture-resistant bond between the middle layers. And this multiplex structure gives you a panel with high screw pull-out strength and particularly good stability.
Multiplex carriers such as the Queenply Multiplex imi-rost do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF substrates. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are not grounds for complaint. Minimal defects due to production or materials that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the first choice are assessed according to the sorting regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standard.
We also take great care to ensure that the Queenply panels you order leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive at your home undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.
Please also note that the color displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions, just contact us. To be on the safe side, you can order a sample of all Queenply variants from our shop.
If you process our lightweight panels, please ensure that you take adequate safety measures, such as extracting the chips and wearing safety goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, processing Queenply results in increased dust development.
And another important note:
We pack your expansion panels particularly carefully before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. But even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is dented or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That's why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply expansion panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be spent on complaints. Instead, invest this time in your project - and feel free to recommend us to others.
