Untreated multiplex board. Perfect for substructures. Easy to work with. Extremely light

For you: Construction quality from the start! Our untreated Queenply has already been used in numerous projects. And we always get a thumbs up for its extremely low weight and high quality. You won't find plywood panels like this in any hardware store. Even building substructures of any kind is really fun.

You can choose from different thicknesses between 4 mm and 22 mm. Depending on the thickness, the panels weigh around 320 - 350 kg/m³. If that doesn't save weight and a lot of lugging! Due to the multiplex structure, this expansion panel has a high screw pull-out strength and good stability. Since we calibrate the panel, the thickness tolerance is low.

Please note!

This Queenply variant is certainly more cost-effective than others. But there is a reason for that: the untreated lightweight panels are intended exclusively for substructures and other construction purposes, as a base so to speak.

Format: 250 x 122 cm
Weight: 4mm - 4.27kg | 6mm - 5.94kg | 9mm – 9.61kg | 12mm – 12.81kg | 15mm – 15.1kg | 18mm – 19.22kg | 22mm – 21.78kg

Technical Details

The gluing of all untreated Queenply is MR (moisture-resistant) and is therefore suitable for the construction of mobile homes as well as for the interior construction of ships.

We calibrate all lightweight panels to an accuracy of 0.2 mm to achieve better surface smoothness and a lower thickness tolerance.

Important information!

Multiplex panels such as the Queenply untreated do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF substrates. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are not grounds for complaint.

We also take great care to ensure that the Queenply panels you order leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive at your home undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.

During further processing, please ensure that adequate occupational safety measures are taken, such as extracting the chips, wearing safety goggles and a protective mask.

Due to its low weight, processing Queenply results in increased dust development.

We recommend using PUR hot melt bonding for this lightweight panel (see FAQ).

And another important note: We pack your expansion panels particularly carefully before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. But even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is dented or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That's why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply expansion panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be spent on complaints. Instead, invest this time in your project - and feel free to recommend us to others.
