Armaflex is not only inexpensive, but can also be used in all areas that require an elastic and dust-free material for heat or cold insulation, e.g. in the interior of mobile homes and campers as well as in weekend cabins or on boats. Due to its closed-pored structure, the material is impermeable to water (even at cut edges) and does not allow moisture to pass through (diffusion resistance 10,000 mµ).

The panels can be processed and cut very cleanly with a sharp knife. Subsequent attachment of fabrics for cladding is possible within certain limits (weight and adhesive suitable for the fabric). The panels are harmless to health and are also used in laboratories and in the food industry.

• Application temperature: -50 °C to +110 °C (adhesive surface can be used up to a maximum of + 85 °C)
• Bonding ideally at > 10 °C
• Thermal conductivity: WLG 0.035
• Water vapour diffusion resistance number: 10.000
• Fire behaviour: flame retardant, building material class B-s3-d0, self-extinguishing, non-dripping, does not conduct fire
• Sound insulation effect: up to 30 dB(A) - depending on the application
