Votronic Battery Protector 40

The VOTRONIC Battery Protector 40 is connected between the supply battery and the consumer and is suitable for all types and brands of lead batteries (acid, gel, AGM). They protect the battery from dangerous deep discharge and the consumers and equipment from undervoltage and overvoltage and, controlled by an external switch, can also be used as a remote-controlled battery main switch.

The reset to normal operation occurs automatically as soon as the voltage has risen again, e.g. to 12.5 V, due to battery recovery or short charging. The shutdown can also be canceled manually using the "EMERGENCY ON" function. The Battery Protector 40 can be remotely controlled via the "Sensor +" terminal with a simple switch (1-pole ON / OFF). This makes it a powerful battery main switch. The EMERGENCY ON function can also be remotely controlled.
