The 400W rigid solar panel is designed for outdoor applications. With its IP68* protection rating and robust non-corrosive aluminum frame, it can withstand wind speeds of up to 210 km/h* and snow loads of up to 51 kg*, allowing it to capture solar energy for years.
*IP68 water and dust resistance was tested under controlled laboratory conditions according to IEC standard 60529 (up to 72h in max. 1m water depth). *Properly installed solar panels withstand a dynamic wind pressure load of 2,400 Pa (210 km/h wind speed) and a static snow load of 5,400 Pa (51 kg/0.1 sqm snow).
