This is unique in the wood industry: a concrete look on a wooden support panel. And on the lightest construction panel on the market!
And it doesn't just look like concrete, it feels like it too. With our latest surface, we offer you the opportunity to design interiors with a concrete look - with an authentic look and feel, with air pockets and a three-dimensional depth structure. This allows you to simulate modern industrial design and design almost anything you want: furniture, wall or ceiling paneling, stairs and much more.
Like all Queenply multiplex panels, processing is easy and time-saving. It's really cool: you can work with concrete really easily. We're excited to see what you make of it!
Standard carpentry tools are sufficient. You can also find suitable edges and accessories for corner formation in our shop: if you're going to do it, do it right.
Format: 241 x 118.5 cm
Weight: 17.2 mm – 23.68 kg | 20.2 mm – 26.65 kg
You can Queenply Multiplex imi-beton in either 17.2 mm or 20.2 mm thickness (including decor). The coating is made of concrete on one side, the back is covered with a matching HPL coating in light grey. The concrete characteristics have no unevenness - every square meter is unique. But of course we ensure a uniform appearance for larger quantities.
The concrete surface is made of mineral, solid-colored material. It is resistant to stains and abrasion.
The carrier plate is and remains, of course, our Queenply multiplex board. With a weight of approx. 320 – 350 kg/m3 it is so much lighter than birch multiplex or poplar plywood. You save weight, can process the panels very easily and at the same time have a really cool concrete look.
We achieve a small thickness tolerance by calibrating to an accuracy of 0.2 mm.
The multiplex construction gives you an expansion panel with high screw pull-out strength and particularly good stability.
You can process these lightweight panels - like all our Queenplys - easily and quickly. Standard carpentry tools are sufficient. You can find a special processing video for this concrete look on our YouTube channel.
Multiplex carriers such as the Queenply Multiplex imi-beton do not have the same surface properties as chipboard or MDF substrates. Any surface irregularities that may occur are in the nature of the substrate and are not grounds for complaint. Minimal defects due to production or materials that do not affect the product quality and are permissible within the first choice are assessed according to the sorting regulations based on DIN EN 438 and the international ISO standard.
We also take great care to ensure that the Queenply panels you order leave our factory in perfect condition and arrive at your home undamaged. You can rely on that! However, we would also like to point out that any distortion of the panels caused by transport or further storage is not grounds for complaint.
Please also note that the color displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the original color! If you have any questions, just contact us. To be on the safe side, you can order a sample of all Queenply variants from our shop.
If you process our lightweight panels, please ensure that you take adequate safety measures, such as extracting the chips and wearing safety goggles and a protective mask. Due to the low weight, processing Queenply results in increased dust development.
And another important note:
We pack your expansion panels particularly carefully before shipping and make sure that they leave our warehouse without any damage to the edges. But even with the greatest care, it can happen during transport that a corner is dented or the edge is slightly damaged. We know that too. That's why we calculate 1 cm less for each side of every Queenply expansion panel in advance: 249 cm × 121 cm for the raw panel, 243 cm × 121 cm for all composite elements and 247 cm × 120 cm for all veneered panels. This saves us all a lot of time that would otherwise be spent on complaints. Instead, invest this time in your project - and feel free to recommend us to others.
